THE MORNING PAPER FOR CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS AND TRADIES

🚨 Safety Updates

Tradies National Health Month (1–30 August) urges tradies to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing. Backed by AIHS and the Australian Physiotherapy Association, the campaign highlights high injury risks in construction. With 29 worker deaths annually, the focus is on prevention, culture change, and embedding safety into everyday work.

A campaign supporting tradie mental and physical health has reached $500,000 through donations from the sale of more than 43,000 work boots.

Important Notice from QWHSQ. From 1 August to 31 October 2025, WHSQ inspectors will audit businesses operating in buildings built before 1990 for asbestos compliance.
